The Bolton Irish Centre is now home to Boltons first and only Celtic supporters Club.It was established for the commencement of 2008/09 season by a group of supporters,who for the previous 18 months,had gathered in numbers in a variety of pubs throughout Bolton to watch live games.Indeed for the final game of the previous season approximately 30 supporters gathered in a town centre pub to watch the lifting of the third SPL title in a row.It was taken upon themselves by several of these supporters to create an official supporters club.The obvious and most natural home for this club was The Bolton Irish Centre,who duly gave us a hearty welcome.As word spread throughout Bolton and its surroundings,interest in the club grew.So much interest in fact,that once memberships became available no fewer than 80 applications were made within the first week !!.In the sort time since its incarnation Bolton Shamrock has already become an integral part of the Irish scene.We regulary host live music nights,fund raising events and run trips to various other Celtic occasions throughout the north west,of course every televised game is shown live in the Tommy Harrington room at The Bolton Irish Centre.For further information on Bolton Shamrock or future events please contact us through here,E-mail or Facebook
